Christmas Knitting Recap - Riva Cowl

I’m so happy with how this cowl turned out! I bought the yarn and pattern for this project after seeing one knit up at my LYS and thought it would make a great gift for my sister-in-law. I noticed that she had been ‘pinning’ a lot of bulky cowls, so I modified the pattern to make the cowl longer so that it could wrap twice around the neck (the original was more close fitting and wider). I cast on 150 sts and used 2.5 balls of Debbie Bliss Riva yarn. I love how it turned out so much that I bought more of the yarn during Yarnings Inventory Reduction Sale (discounted +40%), so that I could make another. It’s a good thing red isn’t my color or I might just have kept this one.
