Hello, my name is Rae and I’m a compulsive craft supply buyer… (this is where you all say “Hello Rae”, like at an AA meeting). I wish I could say that I’m a compulsive crafter, but I don’t have a great track record for finishing what I’ve started. I used to, but in the last few years I’ve done more buying than actually completing. I tend to have a lot of bright ideas but my ‘can do’ ideas rarely progress into something I ‘have done’. As a result my office is filled with supplies, from knitting and beading to scrapbooking and soap making; and given my current rate I will never use everything I have accumulated.
Enter the purpose for this blog….I know there are a million and one craft blogs out there, I myself have had a few (yet adding to the pile of uncompleted projects). The purpose of this one is to be more of a diary, chronicling my journey to use up the supplies I have, learn new techniques and hold myself accountable to start making and stop adding to ‘stockpile’.
I really do love making things and look forward to spending the next year working down my stash and making some fun stuff.
